Green Olive Trekking Mallorca

At Green Olive, we want you to feel that you have a real input into the routes we walk. For that reason we meet every day for you to give us any feedback on the day's walk and to decide the next day's walking. So, although there really isn't a 'typical' week' itinerary, it might include some of the following routes:

Saturday - Green Olive guides will meet you at Palma airport and transfer you to your chosen hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have time to explore your resort.

Sunday - An introductory walk from Soller to Deia: A picturesque coastal walk to the bay of Deia. A beautiful horseshoe bay perfect for a refreshing dip! A medium grade walk to help inform which walks are suitable for individuals within the group. Lunch provided. (**)

Monday - A walk around the Tossals Verds Massif: Turquoise blue reservoirs, well established mule tracks and paths provide exhilarating walking through tunnels give you the opportunity to discover the fabulous area of Tossals Verds. Lunch provided. (**)

Tuesday - Discover the Valdemossa area: Follow the ancient paths of the Archduke Ludwig Salvator through the beautiful Son Moragues Nature Park and the Torrent D'Avall, a dramatic valley. Continue up to the plateau for breathtaking views of the northern coast. The more adventurous may choose to climb the summit of Teix, one of Mallorca's dramatic peaks. Lunch included. (** or ***)

Wednesday - Rest day: On your rest day you might choose to relax on the beach or take the charming and scenic narrow gauge railway to the island's capital of Palma, visiting the impressive cathedral or enjoy the cosmopolitan shopping in Palma's exclusive boutiques. Sit back and enjoy café society at its best! Alternatively, visit one of the many vineyards established on the island and sample some of the Mallorca's excellent wines. Your guides will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

Thursday - From the Mirador de Ses Barques to Cala Tuent: This fantastic walk climbs high above the sea displaying the beauty of the wild coastline with its bays and caves. The walk finishes at the gorgeous waters of the Mediterranean, ideal for a swim, and you can enjoy a boat ride back to Port de Soller if you wish. (**)

Friday - From Soller to the Cuber reservoir: A magnificent descent through the Biniaraix gorge ending at a sweeping stretch of clear blue water. It is the intention to complete this walk in the late afternoon ending with a celebratory barbecue. (**)

Saturday - Green Olive will transfer you back to Palma airport ready for your flight back to the UK.

During the summer months we begin our walks relatively early to avoid walking in the heat of the midday sun for too long. We aim to finish our walks in one of the many beautiful villages of the Serra de Tramuntala where you are free to explore whilst we prepare your lunch. Leaving you the remainder of the afternoon for a siesta or a spot of afternoon sunbathing.
